With a master’s degree in Fine Arts from Goldsmith’s University, London Aysha Almoayyed has made an impression in Bahrain by being the youngest winner of the country’s coveted Al Dana Prize in 2015. More recently she has participated in exhibitions in Paris and London and has worked with curators Latifa Al Khalifa of TooFar, Amal Al Khalaf of the Serpentine Gallery, Corinne Timsit of Art Premium, and Art Critic Pascale Le Thorel the director of the editions of the National School of Fine Arts. 

Almoayyed’s work is inherently experimental and encompassed drawing, digital, photography and installation. Central to her work in the exploration hidden microcosms in the Middle East built to counter limitations in expression.  Aysha's work is made in Bahrain and inspired by actualizing life in diaspora. The artist has exhibited in Paris, London, Hangzhou and Bahrain.
